Graduate Opportunities

Kilnbridge runs a variety of graduate schemes. For engineers, we offer an Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) approved Graduate Training Scheme. During your three years with us, you’ll rotate between a variety of roles, gaining the experience you need to meet the ICE Initial Professional Development (IPD) objectives.

For Quantity Surveyors, we offer a Graduate Training Scheme which is aligned with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) entry requirements. We also support other professional chartership routes through informal mentoring agreements with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).

Apprenticeship Opportunities

The Kilnbridge Apprenticeship Programme gives school leavers and students the chance to begin their career in the construction industry straight away. This is an exciting opportunity to gain internationally recognised qualifications, while progressing your career as an industry
professional.

We offer skill-based and degree-based apprenticeships in disciplines including:

• Accountancy
• Administration
• Civil Engineering
• Construction Related Trades – formwork, steelfixing, concrete cutting, fabrication, fire protection and more.
• Information Technology
• Quantity Surveying
• Vehicle and Plant Maintenance.

You’ll play an active role in our projects and operations right from your first day, supported by our mentoring and onboarding schemes.

Work Experience Opportunities

On a work experience placement with Kilnbridge, you’ll get first-hand knowledge of the huge range of career possibilities within the construction industry, and what it’s like to work for a leading engineering business.

We offer placements across all areas of the business; they will provide you with the opportunity to be on site at one of our flagship projects, or in one of our busy offices, depending on what you’re most interested in. You will gain a wealth of experience in many sectors of the business and be able to ask questions of many seasoned professionals.
