Energy and Carbon

We monitor and measure our energy consumption and associated carbon emissions in order to identify opportunities for reduction and to minimise our environmental impact. We are in the process of setting up and committing to Science Based Targets to achieve net zero in line with the UK government targets.

As of November 2022, Kilnbridge have been certified as a Carbon Neutral business by Carbon Neutral Britain. This has been possible through reducing and offsetting our Scope 1, 2, and 3 (business travel) GHG emissions. This significant step highlights Kilnbridge’s commitment to making a positive impact now whilst also providing a focus for future emission reductions.

We are committed to exploring and investing in the use of technologies at our facilities to reduce the use of electricity and perpetual resources. This includes solar solutions and rainwater harvesting, with the goal for our business infrastructure to reduce overall reliance on the mains supply.
