Working directly for Westfield, the Kilnbridge scope included:

  • Installation of hoarding
  • Isolation and re-routing of existing services
  • Soft strip/ demolition
  • Concrete infills
  • Supply, manufacture and installation of structural steels
  • Reconfiguration of Back of House and IT walls
  • Removal of two escalators

Challenges/Achievements

  • Working around existing services
  • Day and night shifts to achieve a 13-week programme
  • Stringent control of dust, noise and hot works
  • All waste arising was processed Kilnbridge’s in-house waste management business and recycled
